Do you have a picky eater? 🐢🐱 Some pets scarf down their food, while others just don't seem to be interested.  If you've tried other methods and nothing seems to work...try rotational feeding! πŸ„πŸ–πŸπŸ¦Œ

So...what is Rotational Feeding?

Rotational feeding means switching up your pet's food every 1-2 months (or whenever you restock), to a different food (ideally a different protein group).  Doing this allows your pet to explore different foods, keeping them interested and engaged!

Rotational feeding has a variety of health benefits as well.  It can help with allergies and keeps their digestive systems healthier.

But what if my pet has a sensitive stomach?

Many people can’t imagine switching their pets food, because their pet is known to have a sensitive tummy.  And while certain pets may have a medical reason not to do this, rotational feeding generally helps improve their sensitive stomachs!

Think about it- if you only ate a peanut butter sandwich every day for years, and then suddenly tried to eat something else, wouldn't it make your tummy hurt?  But, if you instead introduce regular variety in your diet, your stomach will be a lot more settled.  Pets work the same way!  Once you have them in a rotational feeding schedule, those sensitive stomach symptoms fade, giving them a healthier digestive system overall!
